Background

Deborah is a native of Fresno, receiving her Master’s degree in Social Work from the California State University of Fresno in 2008.  Deborah has worked in hospice care for over 13 years.  She has had the privilege to assist people through the most difficult times in their life. But no matter the cause of a person’s depression, anxiety, stress, it can affect a person’s daily life.  Life’s pressures can blur a person’s ability to cope.  Deborah works with adults, families, and the elderly and each case is unique. Her focus is to guide you to find your strengths and discovering the thoughts and feelings that may have you feeling stuck.

Deborah’s areas of expertise include cognitive behavior therapy; brief solution-focused therapy as well as a variety of therapeutic techniques.  Deborah has an extensive background in grief and loss, domestic violence, family conflict, relationships, self-esteem, depression, and anxiety.  Deborah is known for her compassion and ability to help her clients gain clarity and enhance their own abilities to face challenges in life.

During her free time, Deborah enjoys spending time with her family which includes her 3 sons and daughter. Deborah loves to eat with friends and always finds time to read a good book.
